Compassion

Pathologix was conceived with the main premise of providing answers on causes of death and provide valuable medical research.  Our philosophy has always been to explain difficult medical findings utilizing a scientific approach, but in a simple and compassionate way.  Dr. Feczko handles all cases with compassion and empathy, providing answers and concerns surrounding one’s passing.  

 

In litigation cases,  Dr. Feczko has the experience, compassion, and capabilities to work with attorneys to look at the jurors face-to-face, simplifying detailed, complex issues involved in a medical-legal case.

 

Dr. Feczko travels to funeral homes to perform the autopsies if they cannot be performed at the hospital. Dr. Feczko’s assistant, Sean Fitzpatrick, treats the body and the funeral home facility with complete respect.

 

Understandable Answers

Dr. Feczko has the experience and capabilities to explain the professionally prepared autopsy report to the family and loved ones in a very understandable way. Dr. Feczko’s autopsy report is concisely prepared with page 1 indicating the exact cause of death, manner of death, and all the anatomic and clinical findings, along with toxicology results when indicated. Dr Feczko is available to discuss the entire report via phone consultation or when needed, in person.

 

Rapid Turnaround Times

Dr. Feczko will provide a preliminary autopsy report via phone consultation within 48 hours of performing the autopsy. A professionally typed preliminary report will be provided via email or regular mail within 48 hours. The final autopsy report/findings will be provided usually within 2-3 weeks after the autopsy.
